November 8-10, in the foothills of Limassol Save the date!
Cyprus is home and base for the Choo Choo Camp, which brings 3 artcars to the playa: 2 BiPolar Express trains and another Deep Playa Express. In just a few years, Choo Choo Camp has become a large community, uniting musicians, artists, actors, entrepreneurs and friends!
Afterburn was born in 2023 as a concept that allows us to relive the emotions and events of Burning Man, help culture and important principles become more closely intertwined with everyday life, and recreate an atmosphere of creativity, self-expression, and inspiration for a few more days.
It turned out so well that in 2024 we invite not only camp members to join us, but also all our friends who share the values and 10 principles.
Create, give, build, build camps and thank life and each other.
See you at AB!
How was it last time?
This year, we’ll try to open Afterburn not only to camp members but also to all friends you’d like to invite. We're doing this to help nurture a culture based on the 10 Principles and to grow the burn movement in Cyprus. Our main request is to invite those who share the spirit of Burning Man.
On November 8 (if you want to start earlier, on the 7th or even the 6th, you’re welcome—everything will be open), we’ll set up our mini-camp. We’ll put up a geosphere, a kitchen, and make it cozy. There will be light, sound, and a space for fire. Encourage your friends to think about building their own structures—whether igloos, tents, yurts, geospheres, or any kind of open space zoning and shade structures.
Afterburn is a non-commercial event and as you're joining - you're becoming an ambassador of its values. Any form of self expression is absolutely welcome, as long as it is free and is not advertising any goods or services in the default world.
You can arrive early to claim a part of the land where you want to set up. Or come without any preparations—there’s plenty of space for everyone.
This time, we’re thinking of holding the main event on the night of the 8th with a symbolic burn, so that the 9th and 10th can be focused on the “afterburn” experience. This way, Afterburn will truly live up to its name, thematically centered around rebirth and what comes after.
On the 9th, we’ll spend time together—think of it as a space for any kind of activities, creation, and self-expression. Meet with loved ones, enjoy DJ sets, art, performances, etc.—we’ll gift each other whatever our hearts desire. You can wander around—it’s spacious and beautiful there.
On the 10th, at some point, we’ll wake up, pack up, and leave, leaving no trace, as always.

Where will it happen?
It’s a large, beautiful piece of land, far from civilization, lights, and city noise. 30 minutes by car from Limassol.
Where to sleep?
⁃ Rent an RV
⁃ Find yourself a ShiftPod or tent
⁃ You can crash in the lounge. There will be a geodome sheltered from rain in case of bad weather.
⁃ You can also return to the city for the night.
What about food?
We’ll organize a mobile kitchen ourselves and have a grill. For food — self-reliance. Bring whatever you want for the time you’re participating. We’ll provide the equipment and purchase some amount of meat, fish, and vegetables for the grill, but since the participants aren’t limited to camp members, it’s best to bring your own supplies.
Costumes?
Yes. Just yes. November nights are cold and more like the Playa. Make sure to stay warm—thermal underwear and a fur coat will come in handy after dark.
Are you ready for a transformation?
Please fill out the form below for each participant. And feel free to share it with friends you’d like to invite.
